Duncan McKnight and Iain Ross met in Berlin in the summer of 2008.
They soon starting playing and recording together. Sharing a similar
lack of both accommodation and funds, the pair often found themselves
staying together at friends apartments. In these temporary homes they
would build makeshift studios and record for hours and use whatever
they could get their hands on. It was out of these extremely, shall we
say, ‘hazy’ sessions in other people’s living rooms and kitchens, on
often borrowed equipment, that “Satan is a Farmer” took shape, an unorthodox and experimental EP originally published in 2009 via False Apostle Records out of Berlin, Germany. In the album, through different layers of sound- superimposing new wave and neo psychedelic glows.
